SOFT TISSUE THERAPY

A chiropractor recognizes that the soft tissues around a joint have as much of an impact on joint health as the movement of the joints themselves. This can be done either manually with the doctor's hands, or with the use of an instrument to allow for deeper penetration into those hard to reach tissues. Soft tissue therapies can help with sprains, strains, neck and back pain, rotator cuff injuries, elbow injuries (tennis elbow, golfer's elbow), knee and ankle injuries, etc.

CONNECTX/GRASTON

ConnecTX and Graston Technique are both instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization techniques. The doctor utilizes a stainless steel tool that allows for deeper penetration to effectively target hard to reach tissues. These tools can be used to treat soft tissue abnormalities such as adhesions, trigger points, scar tissue, and hypertonic musculature.

This technique can help accelerate healing the targeted area and increasing range of motion, providing pain relief, and allow for more natural movements of joints.
